I updated the level generation code yesterday and today, and now it can finally create buildings that aren’t rectangular.  This turned out to involve quite a few changes to quite a few aspects of the code, but the results are pretty cool.  Here are some top-view pictures with no obstacles for the sake of demonstration.  Click any of them for a slightly larger image.

  1. Nice how they look like realistic buildings and not mazes. If you get the stealth gameplay to work well with buildings like these it’ll be awesome.

  3. This looks good. The visual style is spot on. Hopefully the gameplay will be aswell.
I do have a question. How does the level generation work? I’m wondering, how one would start write that code, or hat it is built…
If it’s not too much so ask, could you explain it maybe a little bit? :)

  4. Does your site have a contact page? I’m having a tough time locating it but, I’d like
to shoot you an email. I’ve got some ideas for your blog you might be interested in hearing. Either way, great website and I look forward to seeing it expand over time.
